Endless Oceaning-image
Exhibition at Bus Projects
9 May - 2 June 2018

In Endless Oceaning Image, the deepest point of the ocean – the Marianas Trench – represents itself through a long chain of intermediaries. Weather > sensors > weather satellites > algorithms > databases > my choices in video game software > animation. When it rains over the Marianas Trench it rains in the simulation, when it is windy the cameras change focus and the background music picks up. Effectively the Marianas Trench alters its own representation.

Surface II (2018)
live simulation of the area of the Pacific ocean above the Marianas Trench, controlled with live weather data of the Marianas Trench region.
Flatscreen TVs, Computer, Autopoles.
